The seven students started their day early, meeting Romy Ertl, press officer at BMW‘s Berlin plant, and Media University chancellor Prof. Dr. Ronald Freytag at Berlin Tegel airport at 5:30 a.m.

Upon arrival in Munich, the group was welcomed by members of staff and taken to the BMW World, where they had breakfast. Afterwards, they were taken on a special English language tour around the BMW Museum, since one of the winning teams consisted of international students from M.A. Communication Design.

After having lunch at the BMW canteen, both teams presented their projects to members of staff. The students Julian Cramer (B.A. Media and Business Psychology) and Maximilian Wittig (B.A. Journalism and Corporate Communication) introduced their concept for a staff app. The second team, Tobias Huber, Luisa Barbero, Emi Konomi, Tanita Helm, and Kathryn Lawrence (all M.A. Communication Design) presented their campaign "AS UNIQUE AS YOU ARE: MADE IN BERLIN" to Ralf Rodepeter, Head of BMW Motorcycle Brand Strategy.

All in all, it was an exciting and eventful day full of new impressions. The delayed return flight due to a thunderstorm could not cloud the mood.
