Above average: Media University in the Europe Teaching Survey 2020
This year Media University took part in the renowned Europe Teaching Survey for the first time and scored above average in the survey. The independent British organization Times Higher Education (THE) in London conducts the international study once a year at universities throughout Europe. The THE comparison tables are among the most important and most respected rankings of the international university world.
Most of the participating students gave the Media University a very good report card: Among other things they praised the high practical relevance and the excellent interaction with the lecturers. The students were also positive about learning together in an inspiring environment, the stimulation of critical thinking and the opportunity to acquire essential and relevant skills for the professional world as well as to relate to the teaching content. In these categories, the Media University is in some cases significantly above the average value compared to other universities. But the students also wished for an even better access to teaching materials as well as a more active social interaction on the university campus.
We would like to thank about two hundred Media University students for participating in the study and for the open and good feedback. And of course we also accept the challenge to make Media University even better in the future and thus contribute to the satisfaction of our students.
