Welcome, new students! Due to the Corona pandemic, the enrollment ceremonies for the summer semester 2021 take place online at the three Media University locations. Cologne and Berlin were the first to start. The Frankfurt campus will welcome all new students in the next few days.
Shortly before the official start of the summer semester, the first new Media University students were ceremonially enrolled: On March 31, Media University Cologne site director Prof. Dr. Eva-Maria Skottke welcomed the new Bachelor’s and Master’s students in the (virtual) presence of her colleagues from the university and departmental management. Due to the ongoing restrictions in attendance or preventive precautionary measures, the event was held online.
Before getting to know each other and the future fellow students and professors in virtual meeting rooms, the “newcomers” were playfully introduced to the upcoming new phase of their lives with a quiz app. The General Student Committee (AStA) of Media University Cologne also introduced itself and invited the new fellow students to the online freshman week.
