Summer School: Students from ADE partner universities visit HMWK Berlin

Enjoy the summer, the sun, and explore Berlin: As of today, five students from ADE partner universities in Italy and France are our guests at the Summer School at Media University Berlin. Under the motto “My Berlin Story,” the participants are expecting a varied program centered around storytelling, design and photojournalism over the next three weeks.
In workshops, lectures and on excursions all over the city, our guest students will learn more about creating a storyboard as well as portrait, street and fashion photography. In the film and TV studio as well as in the editing room, they will receive a comprehensive introduction to working with the camera and have the opportunity to expand their skills in image editing – under the professional guidance of lecturers Jost Listemann and Felix von Stutterheim.
A visit to the art exhibition Studio Berlin in the legendary techno club Berghain is also planned, as well as a photowalk with lecturer and photographer Nora Bibel through hip and multicultural Kreuzberg. And in between, of course, there will be plenty of time to explore the vibrant big city on one’s own and enjoy the summer playing beach volleyball, having a stand-up paddling tour on river Spree and many other activities.
We are already very excited about the very personal “Berlin Stories” that will be written by the students in the coming weeks. We wish them a lot of fun at Media University and countless exciting and unforgettable experiences in Berlin!
