Temptation=Success! Exhibition opens in Berlin

Plenty of guests gathered on Friday evening for the opening reception of the Media University semester exhibition in the prestigious showrooms of the former “Denkerei” at Oranienplatz, in the heart of Kreuzberg. Around 400 visitors were able to experience a wide range of topics and specialties in the field of visual communication at Media University.

This year, the semester exhibition of the Media University Berlin Design department examined the scope and interpretation of “temptation”. As in the years passed, one could observe that many of the semester- and final exams of bachelor and master students dealt critically with relevant topics of our time, tackling social and future issues as well.

The Department managed again this year to attract valuable cooperation partners for semester projects such as the Märkische Museum and the initiative “Gesicht Zeigen!”.

A separate section of the exhibition was devoted to the developments in interaction design. The students analyzed and reconstructed apps that are dealt with on a daily basis, and they looked especially at the new developments in the field of “wearables”.

The exhibition welcomed everybody who was interested and curious visitors had the chance to experience it throughout the entire weekend.
