Because we love you: Start of the project week with the BVG

October 10, 2024

The project week at Campus Berlin got off to a successful start on Wednesday. The Media University is delighted to have BVG, Berlin’s public transport company, as a partner this semester. Our students will be developing creative concepts in the areas of strategy, marketing and design until January 17.

At the official kick-off meeting, University Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ronald Freytag warmly welcomed the students, the supervising Media University lecturers and the BVG employees taking part in the project week. He began by describing his own personal connection to Berlin’s largest transport company.

After a brief introduction of the company by Ruppert Stüwe (Team Leader Corporate Strategy), a short presentation of the 6 project topics to be worked on by the students followed. Prof. Dr. Christian Hoffmann, head of the project week this semester, called the BVG employees responsible for the respective project task to the stage.

The tasks are wide-ranging in terms of topics and media – from app design and campaigns to tap into new target groups to the development of new marketing concepts for e-mobility and autonomous driving. BVG wants to become even more modern in the future and set the course towards sustainable and environmentally friendly mobility under the motto #BerlinSteigtUm. This requires creative input from our students!

Our students are really looking forward to the challenge and the collaboration with BVG. We are already very excited about the fresh ideas and concepts that will finally be presented to the BVG team on January 17. The best teams will then even be able to present their project results at BVG headquarters. We wish all participants in the project week lots of fun and every success!
