At the Global Game Jam (GGJ), temporary teams come together to spontaneously develop a digital game, similar to a hackathon, in which participants work together for a short period of time on a programming solution to a problem. This year, the GGJ took place during the independent study week of the winter semester, which meant that a Media University team was able to take part for the first time.
In World Shroomination, players take on the role of a fungal organism that is trying to expand its network and must defend itself against human attacks.
