Media University students present to AXA team of experts
In the presence of their professor Dr. Eva-Maria Skottke, four students from Media University Cologne presented the results of their UX study to a team of experts from insurer AXA.
With “fit4ref”, the large insurance group AXA operates a web community for prospective teachers. As part of the “User Experience & New Media” module on the Master’s degree course in Business Psychology, students led by Prof. Dr. Eva-Maria Skottke tested the portal’s website for user-friendliness.
The head of the Department of Psychology and site manager of the Media University Cologne trains the Master’s students to become usability experts, among other things. The analyses carried out by two teams of two students each as part of the semester project have now been particularly rewarded by the company behind the website under investigation: The four students were able to present their results in person at the Cologne headquarters and not only received a small gift in the form of a PowerBank, but also valuable feedback from the experts present. The invitation was also good preparation for presentation situations in professional life.
