Why so panicky?

Summary of the thesis

Five chapters offer a varied compilation of information. An attempt is made to keep the reader’s interest by creating a well-rounded dramaturgy and maintaining a balance between intense, serious and humorous content.

The main goal of the book is to encourage people to deal with the complex issue of panic attacks and anxiety disorders.

Of course, no therapeutic, medical or professional advice can be given in this book, as this was not the aim of this work. The content is based on the principles of education, but also encourages empathy and a change of perspective. On the one hand, the book contains useful information for those affected, but also the feeling of “not being alone” by showing different perspectives. On the other hand, it aims to give people who are not familiar with the topic a general overview without being too technical and lengthy in its delivery – for example by weaving in small comments on the individual in society.
