For Students: Career Service
The Media University Career Service advises students on questions relating to the practical phase of their studies and career planning. It is also the point of contact for employers who wish to offer vacant positions to Media University students and (future) graduates.
Finding the ideal internship with professional help
The internship as a compulsory part of the Bachelor’s degree course is an indispensable element of the academic and practice-oriented teaching at the Media University. The experience gained in the practical phase complements the knowledge gained in class and enables you to combine theoretical and practical know-how in order to master the high practical demands of entering the working world.
The Career Service staff will support you in your search for suitable internships as well as in the preparation of application documents and job interviews. Current internship positions are published on the Media University intranet and posted on the notice board.
Internship abroad
If you would like to complete your compulsory internship abroad, the Career Service can also provide support. It provides tips and suggestions for finding an internship abroad as well as information on funding opportunities (Erasmus+, Promos) in cooperation with the International Office.
Jobs and career planning
Thanks to the excellent networking of our Career Service staff, employers target their job offers specifically at Media University students and future graduates. This includes offers not only for internships, but also for part-time or working student jobs, internships, traineeships or job offers for career starters.
On request, you will receive advice on practical professional development throughout your studies, including career options and recommendations for further training.
