Prof. Dr. Lorenz Pöllmann is Professor for Media and Event Management at Media University Berlin. He studied international cultural management and cultural tourism in Freiburg and Frankfurt (Oder) and received his doctorate on the use of social media in theater marketing. In 2005 and 2006 he was head of the Cultural Congress in Freiburg and from 2007 to 2009 he was project manager in an agency for cultural marketing and cultural sponsoring in Berlin. From 2009 to 2013 he worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Cultural Management at the European University Viadrina, Frankfurt (Oder). 2010 he founded the music room festival Cosy Concerts in Berlin. Lorenz Pöllmann has been a consultant for cultural management for several years and is a regular guest lecturer at the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg and the European University Viadrina, Frankfurt (Oder).
