Showtime! First broadcast of the Talent Campus_Video
Since winter semester 2019/20 the workshop Talent Campus_Video has been held every week at Media University Berlin. Here, interested students from all faculties have the opportunity to gain practical experience in film, editing and moderation. Now the first show has successfully been broadcasted.
Rigid bureaucracy vs. laid-back hipster life: The first episode of the Talent Campus show explores two contrasts in the big city. For example, student Laura Mühlenmeier (M.A. Convergent Journalism) visited the State Office for Immigration in Berlin-Charlottenburg and talked to people waiting in the cold for an appointment – and often this was not the first time. The report also includes employees of the office who would like to change something about the unpleasant situation.
Journalism students Warda Imran and Aisha Sharipzhan (both M.A. Convergent Journalism) also went on a foray through Berlin’s trendy districts for the first show, tracking down hipsters in the wild. How does one become a hipster? And where can they be found? The result is an entertaining, witty and informative short report about a real big-city phenomenon.
