Organized by the U.S. State Department, the German Federal Foreign Office, the Bertelsmann Stiftung and the American Institute for Contemporary German Studies (AICGS), the forum took place on the sidelines of the G-7 foreign ministers’ meeting. The two-day event focused on the question “How can we protect democracy in the digital age?” through a series of inspiring workshops and talks, culminating in a conversation between the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and the German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock.

Reporting on a forum full of so many bright minds was both a pleasure and an amazing learning experience for our talented team of young journalists. We are already looking forward to the diverse works of our students, which will soon be available online.
